Rooibos Chai Latte

Rooibos contains nutrients that support bone health and fight inflammation. It is super high in antioxidants, which can help with aging and preserving mental health. It's also a methylation food.

Ingredients

  • 1-2 bags of Rooibos Chai Tea (I used the Numi brand)
  • 1/2 cup Full fat coconut milk
  • 1/2 tsp. Vanilla extract
  • Cinnamon and/or ground turmeric for garnish

Instructions

  1. Boil water and steep tea bag in a mug for about 5-10 minutes. If you like a stronger flavor, use 2 tea bags.
  2. Add vanilla extract with coconut milk to small pot on stove. Don't boil it, but once it gets very hot, whisk until it's frothy. You can also use an immersion blender or milk frother. Note-Dairy-free milks don't froth as well as cow's milk.
  3. Remove the tea bag and pour your froth into the mug of tea
  4. Garnish with a sprinkle of cinnamon or/and turmeric.
