Spiced Chaga Protein Shake
Chaga powder is added to this smoothie to provide anti-cancer, immune boosting (anti-flu), inflammation-fighting benefits
- ½ banana
- 1 date dried, no pits
- ¼ cup pumpkin seeds
- 2 Tbsp. cacao nibs or 1 Tbsp cacao powder
- 1 tsp. cinnamon
- 1 tsp. turmeric
- Pinch of black pepper
- 1 tsp. Chaga I used OM brand
- 1 cup Almond milk
- 2 oz. cold brew optional
- 1 scoop Protein Powder I used Designs for Health PurePaleo Unflavored
- Mix all ingredients into a blender until blended smooth.
Black pepper is added to enhance the absorption of curcuminoids found in turmeric For more of a coffee flavor, add 1 cup iced coffee with 1/4 cup almond milk instead of the cold brew.
